Baby Hans Caspian Sklar has two happy (and tired) parents! He was born at 3 o'clock yesterday morning and weighed in at 6 lbs, 8 oz and measured 19.5 inches long. He's a healthy baby and his mommy is doing great too! My wife did a great job and delivered baby Hans with no pain medication six and a half hours after our arrival at the hospital.
Hans, which means Yahweh is Gracious, is the answer to many prayers. Thanks to our friends and family for your love, friendship, prayers, and shared hopes and dreams. We are so thankful for all of you.

Nik told me of Hans' birth, and i couldn't help but be overjoyed. He truely is the answer to many prayers. Congratulations and so much more. You'll have to come to visit us out here in Escondido sometime. We miss you guys more than you know.
