Before he died, former spy Alexander Litvinenko said this:

The Alexander Litvinenko story reminds me of something Alexander Solzhenitsyn said in Gulag Archipeligo , when he said that Russia would pay a price if the country never collectively cleansed itself by publicly punishing those responsible for the 50 million+ Russian deaths at the hands of their own dreaded police, the KGB & FSB. The current leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, was leader of the FSB prior to his current position. Text of the statement dictated by former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko before he died and released by his friends on Friday: (from the WSJ here ) I would like to thank many people. The "Holidays"

"You have only to stay over Christmas with a family who seriously try to ‘keep’ it. . . in order to see that the thing is a nightmare. Long before December 25th everyone is worn out—physically worn out by weeks of daily struggle in overcrowded shops, mentally worn out by the effort to remember all the right recipients and to think out suitable gifts for them. Lewis on Christmas I look forward to family and friends around the table and around the fire. There is much to be thankful for.

Orissa Burning

Please pray for the Christians & Hindus in Orissa & Aradhna Pradesh, India where a horrific outbreak of persecution is taking place. Our friends the Taylors, who have generations of friendships & connections to India provided this blog for updates: http://orissaburning.blogspot.com . The following quote is from the Wall Street Journal. "In some of the worst anti-Christian violence in India in years, rioting continued over the weekend and sporadically on Monday in the eastern state of Orissa, shattering hopes that a week-long spate of violence had been contained." - Wall Street Journal , Sept. 2, 2008
