Slowing Down is hard to do

Those who know me well will be shocked to hear that I just cancelled a planned trip to another country (Canada), in order for us to slow down and have a more peaceful summer. It is hard for me to slow down. I've always had trouble with it. And yet, the ability to do so is one of the attributes I most admire in Jesus.

We're in Colorado all week -- in the mountains next Monday thru Thursday, and my goal is going to be to stay slow and enjoy the Creator.
