In 1995 I spent a semester at U of Z in Harare on a Syracuse University study program. It was a wonderful/terrible time and I've closely followed events there ever since. Plainly put, the people of Zimbabwe need help -- they've been ruled by an increasingly sadistic government and thousands have been killed, evicted, debased & humiliated.
Tomorrow, Robert Mugabe will try to hold another poll even though the opposition pulled out after police raided MDC headquarters & are still carrying out a brutal political repression that has seen scores killed, evicted, or forced to go without food (in order to retain their voting cards).
Please pray for wisdom and justice for the people of Zimbabwe.
